The Equitable Climate Action Team (ECAT) is a City staff led group of community members who volunteer to assist in implementing equitable climate action through community education, outreach, and the evaluation of City programs to ensure equitable outcomes. The group hosts a English/Spanish bilingual meeting every third Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm. Dinner and a small stipend is provided for participation. The Longmont Sustainability Coalition meets virtually four times per year to learn about the Office of Sustainability's current projects and priorities. Each meeting includes a brief guest presentation from a local environmental expert and an opportunity to share upcoming sustainability-related events and announcements.
